Study at UWA – The University of Western Australia
What are the visa requirements to study in Australia?
In order to study at UWA you must have a student visa (subclass 500) issued by the Australia Department of Immigration.
How do I obtain a visa?
Students are able to apply directly or appoint an authorised agent to act on their behalf. Stuart Hamlyn has engaged the services of an authorised agent in Australia to act on behalf of our students. Stuart Hamlyn recommends the services of this agent to reduce the likelihood of any delays in obtaining the required visa.
What documents do I need for the process?
“Stuart Hamlyn does not set or have control over the level of fees charged by UWA or in respect of visa services, and as such it’s important to note that these fees are subject to change. The following list is not intended to be exhaustive and is subject to change and is provided for information purposes for our prospective students:
Application fee – zero
(Stuart Hamlyn charges no application fees for the first student application with further applications at AUD 250)
Tuition fee (annual) – AUD 37,000 – AUD 40,000 p.a
Health Cover (OSHC) – AUD 1,500 – AUD 1,700 p.a
Visa Applications – AUD 1,000 – AUD 3,000 depending on additional family members being included”
